What were Looking for

Waving Paws Walker Duties:

• Lead walks tailored to each dog's unique personality & needs. whether it be a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or a playful romp in the park.
• Provide warmth, affection, and positive reinforcement so every pet feels safe, happy, and loved.
• Ensure dogs receive proper exercise and socialization

• Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to the owner
• Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
• Provide water and occasional feeding as instructed

• Use GPS tracking apps to log walks for clients
• Communicate with pet owners about their dogs’ activities and well-being
• Handle multiple dogs at once if required.

• Ensure adherence to local leash laws and pet safety regulations

Requirements:

• Strong experience working with pets
• Flexible working schedule (ie. Work remotely, student, part time work, freelancer)
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes

• Be able to host dogs in your home for boarding or daycare
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy

• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Access to a smartphone for communication and GPS tracking
• Knowledge of basic pet first aid is a plus
